Regardless of your experience with fitness and wellness, I can tailor-make a program that suits your needs.

If you’re new to fitness, my 18-week body transformation programme will give you all the tools you need to get a realistic understanding of how your actions affect your health – and what you can do to improve it.

Maybe you know a thing or two already and just need a little extra push to get your fitness goals moving. In that case, the Standard Membership will help you keep on top of your health and fitness and make the change you want to see happen. 

My approach is to look at every part of your lifestyle that affects your relationship with your body. Not only do my membership packages provide you with a personalised exercise programme, but they also include a weekly food shopping list and a customised meal plan

What my personal online training can do for you

There is a lot – and I mean a LOT – of misinformation about how to reach your personal health and fitness goals. Let me tell you why my personal training services will actually help you.

Affordable online fitness services

In New Zealand, personal trainers charge $55 an hour on average. That’s completely unnecessary. My most expensive programme is $16 per week – and that includes a weekly meeting, unlimited calls, a full health and fitness action plan, and so much more.

With Fitness Sci-Tec, you can spend as little as $8 a week for training and coaching online with a qualified personal trainer. Plus, I don’t provide forms that lock my clients into a virtual program that they have to commit to. You can cancel your membership anytime after you join.

A personal approach

As your online personal trainer, I’m not going to just throw you some generalised workout regime. I adapt each course I offer for each client, to make the training online personal. I take your whole lifestyle into account, including your budget, goals, and work schedule, to tailor-make a plan that will work for you. Not only will you get workouts customised to your personal needs, but I can also provide you with:

  • A shopping list and meal plan for every day of the week
  • 24/7 support via phone or online, depending on your plan
  • Weekly or fortnightly consultations
  • Health and fitness tracking tools
  • Learner study support

Depending on which online coaching plan you choose, you can also potentially get a FREE heart rate monitor along with full access to instructional videos and basic online learning study tools to better your health and fitness knowledge.

The tools I use are far better and more advanced than your standard bathroom scale, thereby giving you better means of measuring your body composition and your progress. These include:

  • Estimated body composition (fat-free/fat mass, current vs. desired body fat percentage, and waist to hip ratio)
  • Full body girth measurements
  • Estimated 1RM testing
  • Estimated metabolic rate
  • And more!

Sustainable fitness

Have you tried one of those fast personal training courses or fad diets, only to find that after seeing some results you went back to the level of fitness you were at before? Me too! Before I put in a lot of time educating myself about how sustainable health, fitness, and nutrition really work, I tried so many workouts and diets designed to shed weight fast – and none of them worked. I used to feel so ashamed when I went back to the weight I was before that I was tempted to give up training altogether.

But then I realised: my lack of knowledge was not my fault and making change all started with knowing what would actually work. Short-term solutions are designed as business schemes and are not the kind of training that will help you succeed.

Achieving sustainable change is all about looking at all the habits that do not serve you and replacing them with better ones. That’s it. It’s a simple concept that is so hard to put into practice if you don’t have the right support. And that’s where my personal training online comes in.

Making the journey towards achieving your personal fitness and nutrition goals as enjoyable – if not more enjoyable – as reaching them, is the key to maintaining motivation and confidence that you CAN get the most out of your training regime with results that will actually stick.

I set up Fitness Sci-Tec not as a get-rich-quick business scheme, but rather out of a genuine passion for making fitness and nutrition tools more accessible for EVERYONE.

At 195 kg, I used to feel uncomfortable and anxious whenever I went out in public, and after getting told that I might have to sleep with a CPAP machine forever, I was determined to make things better for myself. That journey changed my life. Since then, I wanted to find a way to help anyone else do the same.

I am qualified with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sports and Exercise Science and an AUT Certificate of Proficiency in Pacific Nutrition. Combining my academic accomplishments with my personal experience with health, nutrition, and fitness, I use evidence-based practices so every client of mine can trust that they will receive personal training services that work.
